Organized by an exuberant team of valley women, an exceptional event is coming soon to the Coachella Valley. The second annual Desert Cities Woman’s Show will showcase everything from healthy lifestyles and medical innovations to fashions, golf, dating, décor, and more.
It’s all happening Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells. Admission is $12 per day in support of local charities. Be sure to save the date. This is a show you won’t want to miss.

“We are returning for a second year to a spectacular production for the ladies of our valley,” said hospital administrator Cliff Daniels.
Also returning is Dr. Mo Zakhireh with Cosmetic Surgery Institute. His team will be presenting the most up-to-date surgical and non-surgical cosmetic enhancements for women seeking a healthy, youthful look.
Greenberg Medical Group, Desert Crossing Dental, and Desert Oasis Healthcare are just a few of the other 100 exhibitors who bring their expertise to the show. This event also features informative lectures, self-defense demonstrations and a fabulous fashion show from The Gardens on El Paseo. Not to be missed is entertainment including Desert Youth Ballerinas, Red Dragon Karate Kids, outdoor living displays and hourly giveaways. Attendees can win spa packages, beauty enhancement certificates, fitness memberships, fine dining, designer handbags, jewelry and much more.

The Desert Cities Woman’s Show is produced by a group of businesswomen in the Coachella Valley, led by Diana Marlo. She produced her first Woman’s Show in Canada in 1986, attracting thousands of women of all ages and backgrounds. She sold her show after coming to the desert, and is pleased to see that the Toronto Women’s Show is still going strong, drawing more than 37,000 attendees each year.
“At such a challenging time in our economy, I feel the Desert Cities Woman’s Show provides an affordable opportunity for businesses and women of the valley to come together,” says Marlo. “There are so many wonderful women who live and work in this valley – this show is for them!”
Show manager Carissa Marlo, currently attending Arizona State University, grew up with the Woman’s Show in Canada, operating her first booth at the age of 8, and assisting in the office throughout her high school years. After attending College of the Desert in Palm Desert, Carissa relocated to Tempe, Ariz., to pursue her bachelor’s degree in business marketing. Carissa has volunteered for many charitable organizations in Canada and the Coachella Valley and is looking forward to supporting many of the charities that directly support the families in this valley.
KPSP Local 2 (CBS 2) is the show’s exclusive TV sponsor, joined by KJZZ, KPLM, JACK FM, Palm Springs Life, Tommy Bahamas and many local women’s groups, including Women Leaders Forum, Wine Women and Girlfriend Factor.
An expected $60,000 in ticket revenue from an anticipated 5,000 attendees is going to Coachella Valley Charities to boost their ability to help those in need in these tough economic times.
Variety the Children’s Charity, Shelter from the Storm, Hanson House, Desert Youth Ballet, Animal Samaritans, The First Tee and Desert Cancer Foundation are among the charities that will benefit from selling general admission tickets.
