Top Doctors Locating In Valley Medical Center

Valley Medical Center in San Jacinto is attracting some of the top doctors in the area to this “State of the Art” facility.  Dr. Wayne Kelly will open his practice in Valley Medical Center in October 2009.
Dr. Kelly is 59 years old and has practiced medicine for over twenty-five years. He was born and spent his childhood in New Orleans. He has been married for over 25 years to Lauris Moxley. They have four children together. His youngest son is 15. All family members have worked in his medical practice. He attended universities in both the US and Canada, including the University of Western Ontario, Harvard, and McGill University. He completed a Bachelors degree, a Masters in counseling psychology, a MD from McGill, and a second Masters in surgery. He has had extensive experience in hospital, clinic, emergency, obstetrical, pediatric, and industrial medicine. He has worked in remote wilderness locales in northern Canada, as well as having practiced psychotherapy for six years prior to entering medical school and taught college courses in psychology, including hypnosis. He is interested in non-traditional medicine such as the Anti-Aging movement, alternative methods of pain control, and has started doing home sleep studies. He enjoys the special relationship with people to which doctors are privileged. Being located in Valley Medical Center gives his practice the convenience of having a full Imaging Center, Laboratory services, Physical Therapy and Specialist right in the building.
For the past ten years Dr. Kelly has had a very large medical practice, choosing to serve a less than affluent population and frequently providing free medical care to patients with financial hardships. He is an ardent advocate of universal health care and believes that the same quality of care should be available to all citizens regardless of their financial status. Dr. Kelly has recently decided to stop working with any HMO’s, but continues to offer his services to patients with Medi-Cal and most other insurances as well as providing very affordable care to the uninsured. Dr. Kelly's office will be donating 10% of the income from his industrial practice toward establishing a fund for families unable to afford health care to help pay for X-Ray and lab services, and is seeking industry support for the program and to recruit colleagues willing to donate an hour of their time per week.
Dr. Kelly is also opening a sophisticated laser cosmetic medical office in the center. The cosmetic center will offer procedures and treatments, with the most advanced laser equipment, for a personal 'make over' or rejuvenation, at the most affordable prices possible. Examples of available procedures are: laser hair removal, wrinkle reduction and skin rejuvenation, treatment of varicose, spider veins, pigmented and other skin lesions, Botox and Restylane injections, as well as tattoo removal. Patients will feel at home in this comfortable, elegant environment, where their well-being and safety comes first. Breast implants and liposuction body sculpting will be offered through the center by an associated plastic surgeon. Free consultations will be provided by clinic manager; Deirdre Moxley PA, who has treated and helped restore the self-confidence and the youthful beauty of thousands of cosmetic patients, and by Dr. Kelly who is also certified in laser treatment techniques.
Dr. Kelly will also be working closely with MFI Recovery Centers to implement a Suboxone based treatment program for opiate/narcotic addiction. MFI is a non-profit alcohol and drug recovery treatment program that has served the community since 1972 and is licensed and certified by California's Alcohol and Drug Program. Prescription opiate and narcotic addiction is a ubiquitous problem that rips families apart, destroys careers, and that according to the World Health Organization claims over 50,000 lives every year. Vicodin is the number one selling drug in almost every pharmacy in Hemet. Suboxone is taken once a day and is slowly tapered over months. It is non-addictive, safe, does not cause euphoria, but eliminates all the symptoms of opiate withdrawal, allowing patients to live normal, productive, addiction free lives during treatment. Dr. Kelly also plans to implement a complementary non-narcotic pain management program for patients whose addiction is underscored by real and chronic physical pain for which effective and safe treatment options exists.

Robert E. Osborne, Owner/Partner of Valley Medical Center stated “We are excited and honored to have such a highly regarded physician bring his practice to Valley Medical Center, this practice will be a terrific benefit to all the Hemet/San Jacinto valley residents.”
