How Do I Get Rid of Cellulite?

This is the question I hear week after week by clients. It’s a question that most women ask because no matter what our size is, this annoying bulging and dimpling plagues most women around the globe. In fact 8 out of 10 women in the United States have cellulite. So can we get rid of it? The answer is yes, but before we can get rid of cellulite it is important to know what it is and how we get it.

What is cellulite? The common misconception is that cellulite is fat. Cellulite is not fat. A person can be very thin and still have cellulite. Cellulite is trapped toxins in our fatty connective tissues that cause pockets to bulge, puff and dimple. Cellulite is a circulation and edema (water retention) problem rather than an overweight problem.

There are only two ways to permanently rid ourselves of cellulite. One way is through detoxifying the entire body and the second is through lymphatic cleansing wraps. I’m a total believer in the lymphatic wraps from my own personal experience. About 7 years ago I was in a car accident and I was unable to use my right leg for an entire year. Lack of circulation and toxin accumulation from medications left me with cellulite so bad that at 19 years old I vowed never to wear shorts again. I did some research and came across a wellness company that specialized in body contour wraps. I was amazed with the results!

In just two wraps my new found cellulite was almost completely gone. Now, it did help that it was new cellulite; the longer you’ve had it the longer it takes to remove it. I continued with a month of detoxifying and am happy to say that my cellulite is completely gone. The nice thing about this particular body contour wrap is that they help remove cellulite, but they also help keep your skin tight and firm while you are losing weight, or if you have lost a lot of weight. It contours the body and you can lose 4-14 inches in one wrap.

Every 5-10 lbs. you lose you’ll want to make sure you have a wrap; it will keep your skin from sagging. If your cellulite has been an issue for some time or is severe, you’ll need to detoxify and do a series of wraps. When you do this, not only will you be attacking cellulite but also lose unwanted body fat and improve your overall health and well-being. Over the past 6 years as an Advanced Wellness Consultant, I have seen real results by addressing cellulite from the inside out. So can you get rid of cellulite? YES, you can!
