Dealing With Common Pet Problems
By Rudy Loya

Everyday we have customers ask us for a solution to their pet’s condition or problem, anywhere from bad breath to room clearing gas and everything in between. Some problems are obvious and some problems take a little thought.  Others will require a veterinarian, but the longer I’m in the “pet” business the more amazed I am to how similar our companion’s irregularities are to our own.  Treatment for common minor problems or conditions can be resolved with a similar method.

I’m no doctor nor do I claim to know how to provide medical treatment to animals, but by giving thought to how you would treat a child or yourself for a similar condition or problem and applying that treatment to your pet, chances are you can remedy the problem or condition at little or no out of pocket cost.  For example, if your pet has an upset stomach or diarrhea, it is possible that the food it eats does not agree with it.

There are some really good medical help books for pets that will pay for themselves many times over and offer remedies to an array of conditions and problems that your pet may be experiencing.

Good health starts with good food, plenty of fresh water and regular exercise.  Remember, just like with humans, should any problem or condition persist see a doctor immediately.
