HOMEOPATHY, a New View

I’ve spent most of my life studying health and over 20 years researching energy medicine. My quest began at the Nat’l College of Naturopathic Medicine learning about classical homeopathy, a 200+ year old system, developed in Europe by medical doctors who were disgusted with the barbaric practice of blood letting and prescribing mercury.
Homeopathy is curious to say the least, and definitely a challenge to understand. How could something as simple as water suddenly possess the ability to provoke the body into a healing response? Especially when there often isn’t a trace of anything remaining in that water by the time it’s labeled homeopathy? It defies logic.
Homeopathy doesn’t seem to make any sense and has confounded scientific reason for years. Yet, with all its mystery, it continues to prove its effectiveness. Accused of being a placebo, studies have been done on plants and animals that prove it produces results, but not how. I admit, it is intriguing and it does seem to defy logic, but then so does much of science until we find a method to explain it! To this day, no one knows how aspirin works, but we take it anyway!
In 1995 I took additional graduate classes at the California Institute for Human Sciences in Encinitas, CA. I had the opportunity to study with some renowned researchers, including medical doctor, author and researcher Dr. Julian Kenyon, MD from London England. I was introduced to an array of energetic measuring instruments, including LISTEN, AMORA, ECLOSION, VEGA and VOLL. Dr Kenyon also introduced complex homeopathy and vial testing in his classes. (More on that later.)
A classical homeopath engages in extensive questioning and observing their client in order to find the single correct constitutional remedy at precisely the correct dilution. It could be likened to finding just one single note on a piano keyboard and knowing precisely how long to play that note in order to restore someone’s health using sound therapy. This is no easy task. The remedy must match the constitution of the individual or animal.
In complex homeopathy, the remedies are not single notes or frequencies, but rather, chords of many notes played together like a symphony. Each formula is like a perfectly composed piece of music played by an orchestra of instruments. The success of the effect is obtained from the realization that the body will take only what it needs and ignore the rest, without any harm done—much as a listener in the audience would do at the symphony. With complex formulas we find more matching of the symptoms of the individual to the chosen remedy.
Dr Kenyon introduced us to muscle and vial testing in his classes. He spent hours explaining how energy is used to match “like to like.” He explained that if we reduce everything in existence to its single common denominator, all that remains are protons and electrons, pulsating oscillations of energy spinning right or left inside every atom. When atoms cluster together to form molecules, we suddenly have “things” we can begin to see. Before this patterning creates molecules, we simply have energy. From the hair on your head to the song you sing, to the keys I’m typing upon - it can all be reduced to energy. And energy is all the same thing—unending, indestructible energy!
After years of extensive studying and working with clients and energy medicine, I have come to the conclusion that all we are doing with homeopathy, or any form of energetic healing, is tuning up and balancing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual fields or patterns of chaotic energy with coherent, balanced energy. Remember what the Bible says, “. . . .like attracteth like. . . .” In homeopathy, the Law of Similars demonstrates that like not only attracts like, but also heals and restores balance, which is simply coherent energy fields, to it’s own kind or likeness.
As for the “how” of homeopathy, I compare it to a camera taking a picture—point the lens at an image, push a button, and the likeness of that image is transferred through airwaves onto a chip or film in a camera. Then in another transfer of information fields, the likeness is moved into a computer and a printer and again onto photographic paper. And it could even be transferred again with a cell phone anywhere in the world! It is magical, and it is unbelievable, and it’s our world whether we understand it or not. And, just like homeopathy, which uses water or tiny sugar tablets, it’s just a transfer of healing energy from one thing or place to another. I invite your email questions, thoughts and ideas!
