Digestion and Food Choices

Would you like to feel great and have balanced energy throughout the day?
Yes, of course you would! And you can! It’s easier than you may have believed. Start with a few basic concepts:

  1. The release of ‘energy’ from the food you consume has a direct relationship to how easy it is for you to assimilate (digest). Sound simple? This principle is one of the keys to ‘balanced energy levels’. One method of accomplishing
this is eating ‘mono meals’ (one food choice at each meal). Eating just fruit or only vegetables. ‘One Bowl’ meals as opposed to ‘Soup, Salad an Entre plus Desert’.

  2. Change the volume of what you eat!  Try the ‘80/20 Principle’ . Visualize your stomach (during your meal) as “full” at  80% capacity rather 100%. This will allow the space for proper digestive action within the stomach and will increase your digestive ability.

  3. Slow Down. Become aware of the moment and take time to ENJOY every bite! Your body is actually designed to REST after each meal. This may not always be possible, but take a break after your meals as often as you can.

These suggestions are the start of a simple and effective way to bring change to your life and increase your ‘Energy Balance’.

Implement any one these concepts and change begins . . .Choose all three and your change may be dramatic. It’s up to you . . .
