Are Your Clothes Clean?
By Erika Rodriguez
Question: Why do my clothes and laundry smell so bad if I forget to put them into the dryer right away? Sometimes I have to wash the whole load again, wasting more water and detergent. Even then, the clothes still have an awful odor.
Dear Reader,
Even though you’ve washed your laundry with plenty of detergents and hot/warm water, you may still have bacteria on your clothes and linens. Forgetting the load in the washing machine for a while allows the bacteria and odors to multiply. It would seem that your clothes are not really getting “clean” after all.
Question: Is it possible that my clothes are making my skin itchy and irritated?
Since detergents and fabric softeners are intended to be embedded into your fabrics to make them feel softer and appear brighter, your skin will be exposed to those toxic chemicals. It is possible for your skin to be sensitive to those chemicals. To be certain if you are allergic, or have a chemical sensitivity, you should see your doctor.
Question: I’d like to limit my family’s exposure to the harsh chemicals found in laundry detergents and I’m concerned with the pollution that the used waste-water puts back into our environment. Is there a safe alternative?
Yes! Imagine an eco-friendly way to do laundry without the use of detergents, fabric softeners, or hot/warm water!
There is a technology that uses an advanced oxidation process that has been used for many years in hospitals and nursing homes because of its ability to clean laundry, while killing 99.9% of odor-causing bacteria. The process treats the water going into your washing machine with millions of tiny effervescent bubbles full of advanced oxidizers. This cleaning action breaks down oils, dirt, disinfects fabrics, and lifts previously embedded detergent build-up. Silver ions, a nontoxic precious metal known for its bactericidal properties, are also added to the water, providing a 99.9% sterilization of the laundry. This treatment will keep your laundry antibacterial for up to 30 days!
The result is cleaner, brighter, and softer clothes that are free of detergent build-up! It’s better for your skin and the environment! This technology allows you to save money, energy, and resources!
For everyone concerned about the environment, using cold water is a great way to conserve energy and our heating resources. Preventing up to 400 billion gallons of polluted water per year from entering our water systems is great for our ecosystem too. Did you know that in the United States, 40,000 pounds of detergent are used per person every year? Imagine the resources that could be preserved! Now is a great time to consider a better way to get clothes really clean!
