ADHD Checklist Up to 70% of children treated with ADHD medications have been misdiagnosed. Most of these children are suffering the impact of nutritional deficiencies and dehydration. Many more have allergies or blood sugar imbalances that cause them to become over stimulated or fatigued.
Physicians often recommend that ADHD be treated symptomatically with stimulant medication, special education, and counseling. Although these approaches work for some, they do not cure the disorder or correct the underlying causes. Additionally, many common drugs for ADHD have the same Class 2 classification as cocaine and morphine, with side effects that alter appetite, sleep, cognitive functioning and growth. Several things mimic or coexist with ADHD and do NOT respond to medication. A multidisciplinary approach deals with underlying causes and symptoms—and that makes a lot of sense where children are concerned. JUST SAY “NO THANK YOU” TO DRUGS and explore your alternatives today! |
